What a full rebuild includes
- Collection & strip-down. We collect from anywhere in the Cape Metro and dismantle the unit, recording condition with photos.
- Assessment report. You receive a clear breakdown of what is worn, what is salvageable and what needs replacing, with a fixed quote before work continues.
- Mechanical repair. Shafts, sleeves, bearing housings and seal faces are machined or replaced. Seats and discs on valves are refurbished.
- Surface rebuild & coating. Corroded and eroded surfaces are rebuilt and protected with the right corrosion, wear or glass flake system.
- Reassembly & return. The unit is reassembled with new seals, gaskets and bearings as needed and delivered back to site.
Valves we refurbish
Large-diameter butterfly valves are a speciality. They are expensive to replace, often on long import lead times, and usually fail from disc and body corrosion rather than mechanical wear. We also rebuild gate, check, non-return and knife-gate valves for water, wastewater and process service.
Pumps we rebuild
End-suction and split-case centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine and borehole pump bowls, slurry and dewatering pumps, and process pumps from food, beverage and manufacturing plants. We work on most common brands and on older units where spares are hard to find. Sometimes rebuilding the original part is the only option.
Not sure if your unit is worth saving? Send us photos and we will give you an honest first opinion.
